Ooberman - First Day of the Holidays
What is the perfect song? Your favorite? The best? I can without a doubt always say, for me, it this one. It embodies all things I love about music. Heartfelt and beautiful lyrics, bouncy pop, a soft refrain to conclude, and a climactic synth/guitar crescendo that, when I very first heard this song, made me leap into the air out of nowhere. That moment, and every moment thereafter that I hear this song, fills me with so much love and joy and light and all the happiness in the world. This song is love.
