Siouxsie and the Banshees - My Top 10 - Part 1

Many (most?) would call me a casual Siouxsie and the Banshees fan but truth is I love them.  So it's only a limited section of their music that I love, I still do!  So what if I say "The Rapture" is my favorite album of theirs!  It's only because I can't say "Twice Upon a Time: The Singles" really is my favorite "album"!!  Siouxie is just a force.  Her voice is powerful and primal.  The dark, gothy nature of their pop is just inherently me!  I hope Siouxsie is living and loving life out on "Siouxsie's Farm" and I hope you enjoy this Top 10!

6.  Shadowtime

7.  Peek-a-Boo

8.  Face to Face

9.  Dizzy

10.  Love Out Me

Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure?

A SECOND video for one of the raddest songs of the year!  While this one isn't as great as the 1st "dance video" version, it doesn't matter because this song is bad ass and demands TWO videos!!  If you haven't heard Jessie Ware's new album "What's Your Pleasure?", you are missing out on greatness.

Madonna - My Top 10 - Part 1

In honor of her most recent bat shit craziness, I feel it is necessary to post the only other diva (after Vanessa), that I could complete a true Top 10 .
In spite of all her recent nutso comments/posts and multiple poor releases over the last several years, Madonna did rule the school of pop at one time.
Of all the Divas, Madonna is the one whose career I've actually followed and whose music I listen to regularly.  The first two CDs I ever owned were Violent Femmes' "Violent Femmes" and Madonna's "Erotica" (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!)  Not to mention my dear friend Steve's obsession with her that always kept her on my radar.
While she's probably doomed to never get any more sane, I'll choose to remember that she once made music as amazing as the following 10 tunes...

6.  Lucky Star

7.  Frozen

8.  Open Your Heart

9.  Hanky Panky

10.  Cherish
