Marsheaux

I can't believe I have barely discovered the gorgeous Grecian divas Marsheaux!  After hearing just one song, I immediately bought their limited edition "Peek a Boo / e-bay Queen" double CD set (their first two albums nicely packaged into one!), filled with awesome synth pop and plenty of great cover song choices to keep the familiarity going.  Their 3rd album "Lumineux Noir" (2009) found the group further developing their awesome synth sound.  And now, in 2013, they are preparing to release their latest album "Inhale"!  I can't wait!!

Here are a few samples of their awesomeness!  In this opening track "Dream of a Disco" (from Peek a Boo) you can hear how they are heavily influenced by Flock of Seagulls...

Mitzi

I heard this song on the radio just yesterday and I instantly fell deeply in love!  Mitzi are a band from Brisbane who have just released their debut album "Truly Alive".  The song "Who Will Love You Now" simply stated is gorgeous synth pop perfection and the perfect lead-off track for the album.  Check them out!!
