The Young Professionals - S.O.S.

This week, The Young Professionals are releasing a new compilation called "Remixes & Covers" which, as you may have guessed, brings together various remixes and covers that the band have done.  Some of the people/groups covered/remixed include Lana del Rey, Tove Lo, & Tegan and Sara.  The attached cover of ABBA's S.O.S. makes my heart very happy.

Years & Years - Shine / I Want to Love

I was turned on to Years & Years a couple weeks ago by one of my lovely co-worker friends and have quickly grown to love their sugary synth tunes.  Their debut album "Communion" came out 2 weeks ago and is full of synthy-sweetness just like "Shine" below.  And while the album is full of single-worthy tunes, I implore you to listen to one of the bonus tracks "I Want to Love" from the deluxe edition of the album...it's bad-ass and definitely my favourite song of theirs!!!  I've included the Spotify link below!!

The Dears - I Used to Pray for the Heavens to Fall

The Dears have laid pretty dormant for the past few years (minus lead singer Murray Lightburn's very nice solo record "Mass:Light" from 2013).  Finally, they have returned with more emotion-fueled, grandiose pop/rock amazingness.  They are releasing "Times Infinity Volume One" in September with ANOTHER album "Times Infinity Volume Two" to follow in early 2016!!  My pre-order is already in for the first...this is going to be good!

Little Boots - No Pressure
