I love posting older songs that pop up in my playlists on random and here's one of them! Smoking Popes released their fantastic 3rd album "Destination Failure" in 1997. I remember catching it on the listening station at the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco on a weekend getaway. So many great tracks, incluing one of my all-time favorite songs "Follow the Sound"! But today, we're focusing on this lovely cover of the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory classic, "Pure Imagination".
And in case you were wondering about the good ol' Smoking Popes, they released a new album this year called "Lovely Stuff"!
