Band à Part - Verano Azul, Invierno Nuclear
I love Spanish indie pop! The end of the world and cutting never looked so cute! The kitties at the end don't hurt.
This song is taken from Band à Part's newest release "La aventura original", released by the always wonderful Elefant.

The Felt Tips - Iron Lady
Indie-pop lovebugs The Felt Tips are setting up to release their sophomore effort "Symbolic Violence" sometime this Spring. "Iron Lady" is the first taste from the album and it sounds just like the jangly goodness we've come to expect from these popsters! Now, will they ever come to the west coast and play for me?

The Knife - A Tooth for an Eye
And to continue on International Women's Day...
"'A Tooth For An Eye' deconstructs images of maleness, power and leadership. Who are the people we trust as our leaders and why? What do we have to learn from those we consider inferior? In a sport setting where one would traditionally consider a group of men as powerful and in charge, an unexpected leader emerges. A child enters and allows the men to let go of their hierarchies, machismo and fear of intimacy, as they follow her into a dance. Their lack of expertise and vulnerability shines through as they perform the choreography. Amateurs and skilled dancers alike express joy and a sense of freedom; There is no prestige in their performance. The child is powerful, tough and sweet all at once, roaring "I'm telling you stories, trust me". There is no shame in her girliness, rather she possesses knowledge that the men lost a long time ago."

Souvenir - No es el final
A pretty unremarkable video, but great track from the lovely Souvenir. "No es el final" was released as a single last September and includes as one of its B-sides an awesome cover of Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra's "Sand"!

Ólafur Arnalds - Old Skin ft. Arnór Dan
Ólafur Arnalds should always have vocalists! I've always been touched by his music's beauty and have always wondered how it would sound with vocals. Finally, here's a track from his upcoming album "For Now I Am Winter" due out in early April. Love it!
